Antarctica is the most demanding charter on earth and the one nobody forgets. Best time to go

November to March. November brings pack ice and courtship, December and January the longest days and hatching chicks, February and March the best whale watching and fledging.

Charter season

November to March only. Voyages require an ice-class yacht, an ice pilot, and IAATO-compliant operating procedures.

Getting there

Ushuaia (Argentina) is the standard departure point, two days across the Drake Passage. Punta Arenas (Chile) offers fly-in options to King George Island that skip the crossing.
